Supporting Young Parents

Supporting Young Parents

At Brighter Futures we want you to be part of our family that makes a difference to children and young people

Supporting Young Parents

Sometimes young parents need some extra support to look after their children. We have fostering families who help teach young parents the skills to look after their children and in some cases, where concerns over parenting exist, our Foster Carers are part of an assessment process which will help decide the long-term plans for children. This can be an incredibly rewarding role and in many cases the parents and their children remain in contact with the carers who have supported them.

You may already have relevant experience in this area, but don’t worry if you don’t as our team of professional, experienced and qualified social workers will be there to support and guide you. We will also provide you with training to equip you with the skills you need to support young parents.

If you'd like to find out more about supporting young parents in your home or would like to find out more feel free to contact us for a chat on 0800 882 4402 or fill in our  enquiry form and we will get back in touch with you.

You are the foster parent, but together we are the professional team around the child you are looking after.
